Graduating senior put hard work and sweat into making college experience more rewarding and inclusive

During her time at South Carolina, Ashley Simpson worked to ensure diversity and inclusion in all of her experiences. Next, this May graduate is continuing her education in the Moore School's Master of Human Resources program.

Simpson became involved as a freshman, becoming a GroupX workout instructor with Campus Recreation. During her junior year, she founded the UofSC chapter of the organization Pretty Girls Sweat, which encourages a healthy lifestyle for women and girls through fitness. Through this organization, she also encouraged more students of color to use the university's fitness facilities and resources.
