Passion for service motivates UofSC senior to a career of hospitality and teaching

For hospitality management graduate Ashlyn Ooi, a job at JJ Tea house on Main Street sparked a passion for the restaurant world. Next, she'll pursue her second passion—teaching.

During her time at South Carolina, she worked as an intern at the McCutchen House and as a student ambassador for the college. She also helped found the Global Community Club, an organization in which UofSC students of all backgrounds can connect.
