Retailing student overcomes challenges to achieve excellence

Blair Snyder is graduating in May with honors, leadership distinction, an Academic Excellence Award and Outstanding Senior Award. Her journey to excellence wasn't always easy, as she battled an eating disorder her sophomore year. With the support of family, friends and faculty, she was able to overcome it. 

"Don't be afraid to reach out to professors and build relationships with them. They can support you in ways you don't even imagine,” she said. "Soak up every moment, go to everything you can, and make the most of your time. It really does fly by."
