The University of South Carolina Alumni Association Board of Governors is actively seeking dedicated alumni to serve three year term on the board.
The Board of Governors is chartered to guide and oversee the operations of the Alumni Association. Among South Carolina's most engaged alumni, board members present ideas, lead committees, and drive the engagement operation for nearly 300,000 living alumni. The Board of Governors represents Gamecocks from each Congressional District across the State of South Carolina, as well as four board members who represent Gamecocks across the United States.

This appointment will require some travel to Columbia, SC, to participate in board meetings, events and other special occasions.
Applications will be accepted until May 31, 2020 for a term to commence July 1, 2020. To be eligible for consideration, alumni must have a degree from the University of South Carolina and must also be an active Member of the Alumni Association.
Board members serve a three-year term and may be eligible to serve an additional, consecutive term. The number of vacant seats each year varies depending on open positions based on U.S. congressional district and expiring terms.
