When Jessica Teresi was in high school, she suffered a concussion that kept her out of school for a few months. Her sophomore year at South Carolina, she suffered another one. Now, this biological sciences graduate is applying to physician assistant programs per suggestion of her University 101 instructor.
During her time at South Carolina, Teresi served as a Changing Carolina Peer Leader to help her peers with their mental health. She jumpstarted the "I Feel UofSC" campaign, which educates students about identifying and classifying feelings and emotions.
