'How to be Human'

Jory Fleming is a 2017 graduate of the College of Arts and Sciences with majors in geography and marine science. He's known at South Carolina for winning the prestigious Rhodes, Truman, Goldwater and Hollings scholarships, as well as for his service dog, Daisy. After spending two years at Oxford University studying environmental change and management, he is back in Columbia.

He's now the published author of How to Be Human, An Autistic Man’s Guide to Life (Simon & Schuster, April 2021), a series of conversations between Fleming and writer Lyric Winik.
