UofSC alumna works to save lives with new vaccine

Kate Mingle earned her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering in 2018. She started working for Moderna in April 2020, and when the company received funding from the U.S. government to develop a vaccine for COVID-19, she had to quickly adjust.

Her role includes looking at data collection and how data is used to make decisions.
