By: Chardonnay Ismail

Olivia Ramos knew she wanted to experience something new, and she found it at South Carolina. Next, this August 2021 graduate will pursue a career in maternal/child and women's health.

Ramos fell in love with UofSC during a campus tour, and when she was selected to join the cheerleading team, she knew this was the place for her.

In addition to cheerleading, Ramos was a member of the Public Health Society and volunteer at Lexington Medical Center during her time at South Carolina. She is working as a certified nursing assistant in an assisted living facility and will apply to physician assistant programs as she pursues her dream career.
