South Carolina native Vicky Free has been on the move since graduating from South Carolina with a degree in broadcast journalism in 1992.
Free has worked for BET, Time Warner, McDonald’s Corporation, Disney/ABC international, Novant Health, and now takes on her new role as vice president for global marketing at Adidas.
“When I go big, I go big!” Free said. “I’m always looking to take my leadership to the next level, and I’m a marketer through and through.”
Diversity, equity and inclusion are three words that surrounded the news last summer. One of her goals is to re-center as a purpose-driven brand. Free believes that any leader in any business has to not only believe in diversity, inclusion and equity, but they have to demonstrate it.
